Note: Only existing PROKON clients who are either renting our programs or who have a maintenance contract with their purchased programs are entitled to download updates. Any other person who downloads the programs will be unable to use them.

Demos may, however, be downloaded by anyone who completes the registration form.

Downloading and Installing Service Packs and Modules:

Manually:

• Select the required module or service pack and click on the Download button.
• Save the file to a suitable folder on your computer.
• Unzip the saved folder by right clicking on it and selecting Extract All.
• Save the unzipped contents to your Prokon/Bin folder, overwriting the existing ones.
• Alternatively, instead of the steps 3 and 4, go to your Tools menu in PROKON and select Install Downloaded Updates.
• Browse to where the downloaded updates are saved and select the zipped files to be installed.

Automatically:

• Open PROKON, select the Tools menu and Live Updates.
• The PROKON programs on your computer will be compared with those on the web. If the ones on the web are more recent, the program will be highlighted in red. Tick those you wish to update.
• Click on Download to download the necessary updates and then on Install to install them automatically.
• For offices where only one computer is linked to the internet: Follow the steps above for the computer with internet access. Then for each of the others, go to the Tools menu in PROKON and select Install Downloaded Update. Browse to the Prokon/Downloads folder of the linked computer and select the required zipped files. Click Open to install.
