New licensing system

With the release of PROKON 5.0, we’ve introduced a new licensing system. The system consists of two parts; a desktop application and a web interface. The licenses reside in the cloud giving you the flexibility to log in from anywhere at any time. A major improvement from the previous system is that administrators, who don’t necessarily use the software, no longer need to install PROKON on their machines. They can simply administer the licenses in a browser through the web portal from any device.

The new and old systems will run in parallel for a couple of months until everyone has been migrated. PROKON will inform the administrator when they are being moved and they will need to recreate the users in the web portal.

We plan to switch off the old system at end of October 2022.
