Troubleshooting Connection Problems
License Manager (Lima) requires internet access to communicate with the license server. Various external factors can interfere with communication, including firewalls, antivirus software, and proxy servers.
Lima has a connection troubleshooter to help diagnose internet connection issues. Part of the testing process is to ping a list of websites and the result of these serve as a guide to solve common issues.
From experience, we’ve seen that most connection issues can be solved by creating exceptions in your firewall and/or antivirus rules.
